Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Oleksii Maksymov, FOP (sole proprietor), Odesa, Ukraine ("we") about the Step Trip game and website. By playing you accept them. If you are a minor, please read them with a parent.

1. The game

Step Trip is free to play. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the game on devices you own or control, for non-commercial entertainment. The app stores' own terms (Apple Media Services Terms, Google Play Terms of Service) also apply; for iOS, the standard Apple licensed-application terms apply where these terms don't say otherwise.

2. Purchases and virtual items

• Optional purchases (coin packs, outfits, bundles, Remove Ads) are sold through Apple or Google; their refund policies apply.
• Coins, sneakers, outfits, trails and other virtual items have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money or transferred, and are a licence to use content in the game.
• Nothing bought with real money has a random outcome. Non-consumable purchases can be restored in Settings → Restore purchases.
• Rewards from videos, daily gifts and chests are granted by our server; they need an internet connection to claim.

3. Fair play

Don't cheat, exploit bugs, use modified clients, interfere with the service or other players, or choose offensive nicknames. We may remove impossible scores, reset nicknames or suspend access to online features if these rules are broken.

4. Availability and changes

The game works offline; online features (cloud save, leaderboards, rewards) may occasionally be unavailable. We may update, change or stop features, with reasonable notice for anything you paid for.

5. Content

All game content (art, music, code, levels, names) belongs to us or our licensors. Cities and landmarks in the game are playful, generic interpretations.

6. Liability

The game is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, or liability that can't be limited by law. Play somewhere safe — not while actually walking in traffic!

7. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly: hello@steptrip.app.
